The Max Planck Institute for Meteorology is dedicated to fundamental climate research acting as the focal point of climate research in Germany for 30 years. The overall mission of MPG-M is to understand how chemical, physical, and biological processes, as well as human behaviour contribute to the dynamics of the Earth system, specifically in relation to global change.
